Welcome to our Enhanced Concealed Carry Class! Whether you are new to concealed carry or looking to enhance your skills and knowledge, our class is designed for individuals who want to learn the ins and outs of carrying a concealed weapon in Mississippi. We cover everything from safety protocols to the legal aspects of concealed carry.

Our Enhanced Concealed Carry Class offers in-depth training for individuals who want to carry a firearm safely, responsibly, and legally. The course includes:

Mississippi law allows for the concealed carry of firearms under the Mississippi Concealed Carry Law (Miss. Code Ann. § 45-9-101 et seq.).

• Eligibility Requirements: You must be at least 21 years old, a U.S. citizen, and legally allowed to own a firearm to apply for a concealed carry permit.
• Application Process: To apply, you must complete a background check and take a firearm safety course (our Enhanced Concealed Carry Class satisfies this requirement).
• Permit Renewal: Mississippi concealed carry permits are valid for 5 years. Renewal requires taking a refresher class, background check, and submitting a renewal application.
• Reciprocity: Mississippi has reciprocity agreements with many other states, allowing permit holders to carry in those states as well.
• Where You Can and Cannot Carry:
  • Allowed: Concealed carry is permitted in most public places such as restaurants, shopping centers, and parking lots.
  • Not Allowed: Carrying is prohibited in government buildings, courthouses, schools, and places that serve alcohol (unless the property owner permits it).

To attend the class, participants must:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid Mississippi driver’s license or ID.
• Pass a background check (criminal history, mental health status).
• Bring a handgun (if you own one) or one will be provided for you.
• Wear appropriate attire for range practice (closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a shirt with sleeves).
